With headquarters in Grove City, OH, Mid-Ohio Foodbank collects and distributes food and other items to more than 650 partner agencies in 20 counties throughout central Ohio.
In Fiscal Year 2014, Mid-Ohio Foodbank distributed 54 million pounds of food and groceries, benefiting approximately 524,000 people. That’s also enough to provide 121,625 meals every day.
In the spirit of the holiday season and giving back to the community, Ohio Basement Authority held a company-wide donation drive. Employees collected numerous canned goods, boxed foods, and personal care items.
On Dec. 23, several employees – including Doug Secrest, John Becker, Jim Pierpoint, Brandie Koehler and Holly Richards – visited Mid-Ohio Foodbank to deliver the donations.
Volunteers weighed the boxes and bags of items, which totaled 353 pounds!
Thank you, Ohio Basement Authority employees, for helping make a difference. And thank you, Mid-Ohio Foodbank, for assisting those in need.
