Ohio Basement Authority works with homeowners to create healthier and safer living environments by providing the best permanent basement waterproofing, foundation repair and crawl space repair solutions. Our highly qualified staff, inspectors, and production teams work within a vast 40-county coverage area, and are involved in these communities in various ways.
On Saturday, June 20, the company hosted a clean-up event as a way to help keep our area beautiful. Several employees, as well as some of their family members, participated by picking up litter at the Oxbow area of Hoover Reservoir in Westerville.
"We believe it is very important to be involved in the areas in which we live and work, and to give back to the communities that give so much to us," said Holly Richards, Marketing Manager.
Ohio Basement Authority worked with Keep Columbus Beautiful and City of Columbus Watershed Management to coordinate the event at this local attraction.
Hoover Reservoir Park encompasses more than 4,700 acres, and offers a variety of recreational activities. The reservoir is also a major water source for the city of Columbus.
The peaceful and serene area at the end of Oxbow Road is a great place for fishing or simply taking in nature. It is best enjoyed when it is free of debris, but there are times it may not be as clean as it can be.
Many of our dedicated employees spent time making sure this area would be tidy for visitors. Bottles, cans, candy wrappers, and other small, miscellaneous items filled the garbage bags.
It was a rainy afternoon, but that didn't stop us from our beautification effort and commitment to the community. It brought employees from within our company's various departments together, showing that we all work as one team!
