After living in their house for almost 10 years, homeowners in Dublin, OH, recently began to notice a problem with the water line serving their house. The sidewalk near the curb-stop valve was saturated, indicating the main water line was leaking.
The owners wanted to have this issue promptly repaired, so they began to research how to fix the problem. They contacted Ohio Basement Authority after finding information about our company and our services through resources like Home Advisor. They met with Inspector Victor Golowin who specializes in water line repairs. He then recommended having one of our crews fix and replace the water line.
Our crew, led by Doug Secrest, did this by excavating down to the existing line in the ground and replacing it with newer, more reliable polyethylene pipe. After the line was bored and installed, a new shut-off valve and piping also was installed inside the home.
The homeowners are happy to have an updated system that will serve their home for many years to come.
