Per Matt's suggestions, one of our expert crews installed several crawl space repair products.
After removing the older insulation and clearing the area of debris, the perimeter was excavated for the installation of the CrawlDrain drainage system. Drainage matting was placed on the floor, along with insulation.
The entire crawl space was encapsulated in heavy-duty CrawlSeal Liner, which permanently isolates the home from the earth. ExTremeBloc insulation panels were also added to the walls.
Additional waterproofing methods included installing two SafeDri Pro sump pumps with battery back-ups to pump any seeping water out of the expansive crawl space, and a Basement Air System to filter and purify the air. FreezeGuard was also attached to the exterior sump pump discharge lines.
Several vent covers were installed on the home's exterior to prevent outside air from entering the crawl space, and a crawl space door was added as a secure access point.
The homeowner was excited to have the crawl space completely transformed. All of these products that were installed not only improve the health and appearance of the crawl space, they also have a positive impact on the health of the rest of the home.
