Sump Pump System Upgrade Will Keep a Basement Dry in Hilliard, OH

Challenge

Homeowners in Hilliard, OH, were growing concerned with their 16-year-old home's sump pump system.

During the two years that they have lived in the house, they noticed the sump pump struggling to work extra hard during periods of heavy rain. The sump pump discharge line was also damaged when it froze during the winter.

The homeowners contacted Ohio Basement Authority after researching our company online. One of our inspectors completed a thorough evaluation at the home and proposed products that would be perfect for their needs.

Solution

Per our inspector's recommendation, one of our expert crews replaced the older sump pump with the trustworthy SafeDri Triple sump pump system. This system includes three high-powered pumps inside the sump liner, as well as an exterior back-up battery. This enables the SafeDri Triple to continue to operate even during a power outage.

Because the previous exterior discharge line froze and was damaged, two FreezeGuards were installed to address this issue and prevent flooding or other issues if the lines are blocked or frozen. There are several perforations on the FreezeGuards that allow water to escape.

The homeowners were pleased these patented products and permanent solutions were installed so their home will be a dry and healthy living environment for many years to come.
