After living in his house for two years, a homeowner in Circleville, OH, was ready to sell the house. Before doing so, he knew he needed to complete various repair projects. This included the leaking basement.
The homeowner recently noticed water seeping inside the basement through the walls and floor. This resulted in various puddles throughout the basement, mostly along the walls. The basement has also flooded, and it was obvious that the existing sump pump was failing to keep up with this water.
The owner discussed these issues with a trusted friend, and this friend referred him to Ohio Basement Authority based on his positive basement waterproofing experience with us. The homeowner met with one of our inspectors who also assisted his friend. After our inspector completed a thorough evaluation of the basement, the homeowner was eager for one of our crews to install the perfect permanent solutions.
The special BasementGutter system is installed in the sub-floor to accept water from the floor and wall. Any water collected by the BasementGutter system is directed to the SafeDri Prox sump pump. The SafeDri Prox features a ½ horsepower sump pump that can pump up to 2,200 gallons of water out of the basement per hour. The system also was installed inside the larger liner we use for the SafeDri Triple sump pump system. This allows for easier future upgrades to the system.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing these reliable solutions have helped create a safer home for the next owners.
