After living in his house for a few years, a homeowner in Galloway, OH, recently began to notice water seeping into the basement through the walls. This left puddles and visible damage behind, and the homeowner wanted to prevent this from escalating to flooding and flood damage.
He contacted Ohio Basement Authority after learning more about our company online, and then met with One of our inspectors. The inspector evaluated the condition of the basement and then presented the homeowner with some of our reliable basement waterproofing solutions.
BasementGutter is installed in the basement’s sub-floor to intercept any seeping water from the walls and floor. This water is then directed to the SafeDri sump pump. Along with two powerful pumps inside the liner, the SafeDri’s external backup battery ensures the system will continue to operate to pump water out of the basement even if the power goes out. We installed this system inside the SafeDri Triple’s larger liner to allow for easy future upgrades.
Additionally, a FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line to allow water to continue to escape the line should it freeze or become blocked.
