Photo Album: Building Furniture to Give Back to Our Community

Album Description

On Friday, May 31, 15 members of the Ohio Basement Authority team visited the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio to build furniture for people in need. The Furniture Bank collects furniture from donations and from volunteer builders who put dressers and tables together with pre-cut wood and supplies. This furniture goes to families and individuals who don't have these amenities due to poverty or other difficulties they have experienced. Our team members worked together to build 5 dressers for these Central Ohio residents. Not only was this experience rewarding because we helped others, but we were also able to bond together by using teamwork to complete the complicated dressers.
