Album Description
After living in their house for 11 years, homeowners in Delaware, OH, recently began to notice exterior cracks in the foundation below their back porch. These cracks were in a stair-step pattern, which indicates foundation settlement. Concerned with their home’s stability, the owners began to research potential repairs.
They contacted Ohio Basement Authority after learning more about our company online. One of our highly trained inspectors evaluated the issue and recommended the perfect repair solution. He also inspected the basement and pointed out a cracking wall and open sump pump system that needed to be addressed.
One of our expert crews installed Push Piers underneath the failing exterior foundation wall to permanently stabilize it and help raise it back to level. The crew also installed several Carbon Fiber supports on the problematic interior foundation wall to permanently reinforce it.
The older open sump pump system was replaced by the reliable SafeDri Triple, and two FreezeGuards were attached to the exterior sump pump discharge lines. These lines were tied into new downspout conductor lines that were installed on the property and directed to drain at the curb.
The homeowners no longer have to worry about the stability of their home, or the possibility of it flooding, because of these reliable permanent solutions.
