While they have lived in their house for 25 years, it wasn’t until recently that homeowners in South Point, OH, began to notice problems in their basement. Water leaked inside during heavy rains, which left puddles and water damage behind. This seeping water also damaged some of their stored belongings in the basement.
Motivated to nip these issues in the bud, the homeowners started to research how to best address these problems. They contacted Ohio Basement Authority after learning about our company online, and they met with one of our inspectors. After evaluating the condition of the basement, our inspector then presented the homeowners with some of our trustworthy basement waterproofing solutions.
These included the BasementGutter drainage system and a SafeDri Triple sump pump that one of our crews installed in the basement. Any seeping water is intercepted by the BasementGutter system and directed to the SafeDri Triple to be pumped out of the house.
FreezeGuards were attached to the exterior sump pump discharge lines, and these lines were tied into new downspout conductor lines that were installed on the property. A YardWell outlet also was used to camouflage the end of one of these lines.
The homeowners can rest easier knowing these reliable solutions have helped them crate a safer and healthier forever home.
