After living in her house for several years, a homeowner in Mansfield, OH, recently began to notice a problem with the water line serving her house. Her driveway and front sidewalk near the curb-stop valve was saturated, indicating the main water line was leaking.
The owner wanted to have this issue promptly repaired, so she contacted Ohio Basement Authority to see how we could help her. She met with one of our inspectors who specializes in water line repairs, and he recommended having one of our crews fix and replace the water line.
Our crew did this by excavating down to the existing line in the ground and replacing it with newer, more reliable pipe. A new shut-off valve and piping also was installed inside the home.
The homeowner is happy to have an updated system that will serve her home for many years to come.
