After living in their house for two years, homeowners in Circleville, OH, recently noticed a glaring problem. Water was leaking into the basement, and the basement even flooded during a period of heavy summertime rain. This resulted in damaged drywall and carpet that needed to be replaced.
Before refinishing the basement, the owners wanted to fix the leaking water issue so they would not have to worry about losing any other items. They researched how to best address this problem, and they were eager to contact Ohio Basement Authority after learning about our company online. They met with one of our inspectors who evaluated the condition of the basement. Our inspector then presented the homeowners with some of our trustworthy basement waterproofing solutions.
BasementGutter was installed in the sub-floor to intercept seeping water. The leaking water is then directed to the SafeDri to be pumped out of the home. A FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line, and this line was tied into a new downspout conductor line that was installed on the property. A YardWell outlet also was used to camouflage the end of this downspout conductor line in the yard.
The homeowners can rest easier knowing these reliable solutions will protect their home by keeping it dry for many years to come.
