Album Description
After living in their house for a few months, homeowners in Howard, OH, noticed some staining on the foundation walls. While the owners had not witnessed any water intrusion, this staining on the walls and floor indicated the basement was leaking. The homeowners wanted to take a proactive approach and have the basement waterproofed before any issues occurred.
The owners started to research how to best address this issue, and they were eager to contact Ohio Basement Authority after learning about our company through online resources like Home Advisor. One of our inspectors visited the home to evaluate the condition of the basement, as well as educate the homeowners about wet basements and learn more about their repair project goals. The inspector then recommended some of our trustworthy basement waterproofing solutions.
One of our crews then installed the BasementGutter interior drainage system to intercept seeping water. This water is then directed to the SafeDri Battery Backup sump pump system that was installed to pump the water out of the basement. A FreezeGuard also was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line, and this line was tied into a new downspout conductor line that was installed on the property.
The homeowners have peace of mind knowing these reliable products will help keep their basement dry, thus helping them create a healthy and safe living environment.
