Album Description
After living in his house for two years, a homeowner in New Carlisle, OH, was motivated to address glaring problems in his basement. He wanted to refinance his house, but was unable to do it considering the condition of the leaking basement. Water appeared to be seeping through the walls and leaving puddles on the floor.
The homeowner wanted to make sure he found the best solution to his problems. After consulting with a local engineering firm, the engineers referred him to the experts at Ohio Basement Authority. The homeowner contacted us, eager to meet with one of our inspectors and learn more about how we could help him. Inspector Zeke Fowler then completed a thorough evaluation of the problematic basement, and he then recommended some of our reliable basement waterproofing solutions.
One of our crews then installed the BasementGutter and grated interior drainage systems to intercept the seeping water. This water is then directed to the SafeDri sump pump, and from there it is pumped out of the basement and away from the home’s foundation. An FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line, and this line was tied into new downspout conductor lines that were installed on the property.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing these trustworthy products have helped him create a safer and healthier forever home.
