When homeowners in Marysville, OH, moved into their house not too long after it was built 20 years ago, they intended to make it their longtime residence. Which is why maintaining the health and safety of their living environment is very important to them.
During the last few years, the homeowners noticed some issues getting worse. Along with spotting various cracks in the crawl space walls, they could tell this area was damp and wet. They wanted to fix these problems once and for all for peace of mind. After seeing Ohio Basement Authority’s TV ads, they were motivated to contact us to learn more about how we could help them.
They met with one of our inspectors, Zeke Fowler, who ventured into the crawl space to take a look at the health and safety concerns. Along with recommending a trustworthy foundation repair and crawl space repair solutions, our inspector also suggested addressing issues with water in the basement.
One of our crews then stabilized the problematic crawl space walls with several Carbon Fiber supports. The crawl space was waterproofed with the CrawlDrain drainage system, encapsulated with CrawlSeal liner, and insulated with ExTremeBloc panels on the walls.
Some of our best basement waterproofing solutions also were installed to address the leaking basement. The old sump pump was replaced by the SafeDri Triple system, BasementGutter was installed in the sub-floor, and a dehumidifier also was installed. FreezeGuards also were attached to the exterior sump pump discharge lines.
The homeowners are pleased these trustworthy repairs were completed to help them improve the quality of their living environment so that they can enjoy it for many years to come.
