As a new homeowner in Pataskala, OH, moved in to her house and began to make it her own, she noticed a glaring problem. The basement was severely leaking, and she was worried about her belongings being damaged.
The owner came across Ohio Basement Authority’s website during her research into possible repairs, and she was motivated to contact us for further guidance. She met with one of our inspectors who evaluated the condition of the basement. Our inspector noticed a large area of flooding water that he knew could be corrected by our reliable solutions.
Also during his evaluation, our inspector found an unhealthy and unsightly partial crawl space adjacent to the basement. He also presented the owner with trustworthy repairs for that area.
One of our crews, led by Foreman Martimiano Alonso, then worked to transform the health and safety of the basement and crawl space areas.
BasementGutter was placed in the basement’s sub-floor to catch seeping water and then direct it to the trustworthy SafeDri Battery Backup System. Additionally, a dehumidifier also as installed in the basement and a FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line.
The crawl space was waterproofed with the CrawlDrain drainage system, which was directed to connect to the WaterGuard system in the basement. CrawlSeal also was used in the crawl space to fully seal it and isolate it from the earth.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing these reliable repairs have helped her create a safer and healthier living environment.
