Homeowners in Lucasville, OH, have lived in their house since it was built 35 years ago. The crawl space has been out of sight and out of mind until recently. A visit from a pest control company revealed this area was leaking and was not properly sealed.
The owners began to research how to best address these problems, and they were eager to contact Ohio Basement Authority after finding information about our company online. They met with one of our inspectors who assessed the condition of the crawl space. Our inspector then presented the owners with some of our reliable repair solutions.
One of our crews then transformed the crawl space by waterproofing and encapsulating it. CrawlDrain was placed in the crawl space floor to intercept seeping water, and this water was then directed to a SafeDri sump pump. Drainage matting was placed on the floor, and the crawl space as then sealed with Crawlseal liner. A dehumidifier also was installed, and a FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line.
The homeowners now have peace of mind knowing these trustworthy solutions have helped them create a safer and healthier living environment.
