After living in their house for several years, homeowners in Dublin, OH, started to notice problems with their exterior drainage system. Some of the downspout conductor lines were above ground, and the owners were concerned other areas were broken or clogged. They didn’t want to have to worry about water draining from the gutter downspouts seeping into the house to cause problems in the basement.
After hearing about Ohio Basement Authority from a trusted friend, the owners were motivated to contact us to learn more about how we could help them. Inspector Jacob Thomas visited to evaluate the condition of the exterior drainage system. Jacob then recommended this system be upgraded by one of our crews.
One of our crews then installed newer, thicker pipe that would be more reliable for the downspout conductor lines. These lines were placed in the ground and directed to drain at the edge of the property. A YardWell was used to conceal the end of the main line in the yard.
The homeowners are pleased to now have an updated exterior drainage system that will help keep their home dry.
