Photo Album: Egress Window System Upgrade Improves a Home's Safety in Reynoldsburg, OH

Album Description

After living in their house for a little more than one year, homeowners in Reynoldsburg, OH, decided they wanted to add more living space by utilizing their basement. According to the International Residential Code, all habitable spaces and sleeping rooms, including basements, must have at least one operable emergency escape and rescue opening. This means an egress window system is needed.

The owners turned to the Internet to research this service, and they found information about Ohio Basement Authority on Yelp and were eager to contact us for further guidance. They then met with one of our inspectors who evaluated the existing window system and helped them draw up a plan for an egress window installation.

One of our crews then took great care to install the new egress window system. The owners are pleased this project was completed to enhance the safety of their home.
