A homeowner in South Vienna, OH, has lived in her house since it was built 14 years ago. During the last few years, however, she noticed a growing problem with water intrusion and damage. The existing waterproofing systems were failing to keep up with the leaking water or properly function.
Because her daughter lives in the basement area, the owner wanted to make sure this would be a safe and healthy environment. After learning about Ohio Basement Authority online, the owner was eager to contact us to learn more about how we could help her. Inspector Andy Kennedy evaluated the condition of the basement, and he recommended some of our trustworthy waterproofing solutions.
Foreman Martimiano Alonso and his crew then waterproofed the basement with the BasementGutter interior drainage system and SafeDri sump pump system, as well as an exterior FreezeGuard and discharge line. The sub-floor BasementGutter system intercepts seeping water and directs it to the SafeDri to be pumped out of the basement. A FreezeGuard was attached to the exterior sump pump discharge line, which was tied into a new downspout conductor line on the property.
The owner is pleased to now have a dry basement because of these reliable repairs.
