After living in their house for almost 10 year, homeowners in Powell, OH, were motivated to address one particular area of their home. The partial crawl space adjacent to the basement was full of failing and moldy insulation and floor liner. The owners use this area to store some belongings, but these are unhealthy storage conditions.
The owners started learning about Ohio Basement Authority, and they were eager to contact us for further guidance. Inspector Andy Kennedy then visited and completed a thorough assessment of the problematic crawl space. The owners expressed wanting to make their home healthier, and Andy recommended the best solutions to help them accomplish this goal.
Foreman Jose De Jesus Tellez Ortiz and his crew took great care in removing the nasty insulation and other nuisances from the crawl space. The crawl space was then encapsulated in CrawlSeal and insulated with ExTremeBloc panels on the walls and spray foam in the band joists.
The crawl space is now a safer, healthier, brighter, and more functional area of the home. The homeowners are very pleased with this transformation.
