Album Description
A homeowner was excited to move into his newly purchased house in Portsmouth, OH. But before moving everything in and making the place his own, the owner wanted to ensure the health and safety of the structure. He noticed cracks and inward tilting in one of the walls, as well as evidence of water intrusion. The owner would like to finish the basement, but he knew he needed to address these issues first.
After hearing about Ohio Basement Authority and browsing through our website, the owner wanted to contact us for further guidance. He met with Inspector John Becker Sr. who completed a thorough assessment of the home. John then recommended reliable waterproofing and foundation repair solutions.
Foreman Colin Sotlar and his crew then stabilized the walls with Carbon Fiber supports and waterproofed the basement with the BasementGutter interior drainage system, a SafeDri Battery Backup System, and dehumidifier.
The homeowner can now transform the basement into a fun “man cave” because it will now be safe, stable and dry.
