A homeowner in Canal Winchester, OH, purchased a sump pump system a few years ago after experiencing flooding issues in his basement. But he continued to have basement problems such as moisture, wet carpeting, and a sump pump he believed was running too much.
He contacted Ohio Basement Authority, and one of our crews installed the SafeDri Triple Sump Pump System and a dehumidifier in the basement.
The SafeDri Triple Sump Pump System features three pumps in one sump liner. Two are Zoeller pumps, and Pump 3 is a battery-operated pump that kicks on if the power goes out.
The high-performance dehumidification and air filtration system will dry the air in the basement and automatically drain the water into the SafeDri.
After installing discharge lines from the SafeDri Triple, two FreezeGuard Sump Pump Discharge Line Systems and YardWell Outlets were installed outside the home.
The FreezeGuard System allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. The water can escape even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, allowing the sump pump to keep the basement dry.
The drainage lines were placed in the ground and directed to drain water far away from the home's foundation. The special YardWell Outlets let water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipes. It is very popular for sump pump discharge lines.
All of these products will keep the homeowner's basement healthy and dry, allowing him to enjoy the space for years to come.
