During the last couple of years, homeowners in north Columbus, OH, have noticed their foundation walls and basement carpet getting wet during periods of heavy rain. The adjacent crawl space was also a dark, musty area.
They contacted Ohio Basement Authority hoping to find permanent solutions to improve the health of their house. Inspector Josh Sullivan performed a thorough inspection at the home and recommended various basement waterproofing and crawl space repair methods.
One of our expert crews installed the BasementGutter drainage system around the basement's perimeter, as well as a SafeDri Triple Sump pump. New downspout conductor lines were installed outside for exterior drainage, and two FreezeGuards were attached to the exterior sump pump discharge lines.
The crawl space just off of the basement was also encapsulated in CrawlSeal liner.
The homeowners are happy to have more functional space in their home that will be healthy and dry for many years to come.
