A homeowner in Chillicothe, OH, has lived in her house since it was built almost 35 years ago. One of the foundation walls has been cracking and bowing inward in recent years, and she was concerned with the home's structural integrity.
She contacted Ohio Basement Authority, and one of our expert crews excavated the area outside this problematic foundation wall. The wall was pushed back to as plumb as possible from the inside, and several interior Carbon Fiber wall supports were added to further reinforce this wall. All cracks were filled, and exterior damp proofing was also applied to the wall. The soil and gravel was then replaced.
The homeowner was also concerned with a retaining wall in the backyard patio area, so six Wall Anchors were installed to reinforce it.
The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing her house will be stable for many years to come.
