  • The crew first excavates to expose and remove the older clay pipe that served as the drainage system on the property.
  • After the older pipe is removed, four-inch polyethylene pipe takes its place. This strong pipe will not split, break or crack like clay pipes commonly do. The crew also tunneled under the sidewalk to install the pipe.
  • The new pipes will direct water to drain out at the street.
  • The updated downspout conductor line has now been completely installed, leading out to the street.
  • The lines have been buried underground, and the dirt and stone on the property has been replaced.
  • Evidence of the downspout conductor line replacement is hardly evident as the sod is replaced.
