They found out their house had water and structural issues when they moved in, but homeowners in Canal Winchester, OH, didn’t think they were severe at the time.
After about one year, the owners decided they’d had enough of these problems. They contacted Ohio Basement Authority after learning more about our products and services online. We then completed several projects to keep the basement and crawl spaces dry, and help stabilize the 40-year-old home.
The crawl space repair methods included encapsulating them in CrawlSeal liner and waterproofing them with CrawlDrain and SafeDri Pro.
The basement waterproofing products that were installed included the BasementGutter drainage system, SafeDri Triple sump pump, and dehumidifier. Exterior waterproofing included the installation of FreezeGuards, YardWells, and new downspout conductor lines.
To address a leaking window, a glass block window was installed, along with an interior section of Window Well Drainage and a SunHouse window enclosure system. Other window wells were also replaced, and interior Carbon Fiber supports were installed to reinforce the cracking walls.
The homeowners were pleased these many permanent solutions were installed so their longtime home will be a healthy and safe living environment for many years to come!
