Album Description
After living in her house for eight years, a homeowner in Gahanna, OH, was starting to worry about the cracking and bowing she noticed in her foundation walls.
These are common signs of foundation wall failure. While it is normal for homes to have structural issues as they age, these problems will only become more dangerous and costly to repair if neglected for too long.
The owner was concerned the walls could eventually cave in, so she contacted Ohio Basement Authority with the goal of permanently stabilizing her home. We then installed some of our many reliable foundation repair products. Several Carbon Fiber wall supports and IntelliBrace beams were installed on the walls to permanently reinforce them and prevent further cracking and bowing.
The older basement windows were also replaced by energy-efficient and appealing glass block windows.
The owner now has peace of mind knowing her home will be structurally stable for many more years to come.
