They have lived in their house for almost 30 years, but it wasn't until recently that homeowners in Logan, OH, noticed a few structural issues.
A few of the foundation walls were cracking, bowing inward, and settling. These are common signs of foundation wall failure, but they will also become more dangerous and costly to repair if they are not properly addressed.
The owners wanted to prevent these issues from becoming bigger problems, so they contacted Ohio Basement Authority after learning more about us online. We then installed some of our many reliable foundation repair products.
Eight heavy-duty Push Piers were installed underneath two of the settling foundation walls to permanently support them and attempt to lift them back to level. Thirteen sturdy Carbon Fiber supports were also installed on the walls to further reinforce them and prevent further cracking and bowing.
The owners were happy to have these permanent solutions installed so their home will be structurally sound for many more years to come.
As a property manager, a woman in Logan, OH, wanted to make sure her tenants had safe and healthy living environments. Seeping water seemed to be a problem at one of the properties in Logan, and the manager wanted to have the issue fixed before any serious damages resulted.
She started researching how to best address the problem, and she found information about Ohio Basement Authority online. She was eager to contact us to learn more about how we could help her and her tenants. The inspector pointed out the area of seepage happened to be areas where downspout conductor lines drained outside. Based on our inspector’s recommendations, the property manager was then eager for one of our crews to upgrade the exterior drainage system to keep water away from the foundation walls.
New reliable downspout conductor lines were installed on the property. These lines were buried underground and directed far away from the foundation walls to drain at the edge of the property.
The manager is pleased to have an updated exterior drainage system that will keep the property dry for her tenants.
