History
In 2009, Doug Secrest saw a need for foundation repair and waterproofing services in Columbus, Ohio. With that mission in mind, he founded Ohio Basement Authority. Then, in 2019, OBA partnered with Groundworks, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company. Within a year, OBA expanded its service coverage to Cincinnati. In 2024, OBA merged with The Basement Guys and Ohio Basement Systems to unite under one brand. Ohio Basement Authority is a 2024 winner of the Columbus Top Workplace Award, a recipient of the BBB Torch Award for Ethics, and is an A+ rated accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. Had my crawlspace encapsulated by Williams crew with russel, Levi and Jason working under him. They turned my crawlspace from a war torn disaster to a perfect showroom. These guys were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They worked around any issues that came up and proficiently answered any questions I had. A glowing review for them on my part and if I have any other basement issues I'd ask for them personally

He went above and beyond with his inspection and made sure I understood not only the solutions available to me but even taught me about how foundations of homes are built – which I didn’t know too much about considering my house was built in the late 1800s. He was able to help me with finding a solution to my concerns and I trust that my house will be in good hands.
