Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Ohio Basement Authority! From the very beginning, they made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Scheduling my appointment was easy as can be, and I really appreciated receiving a prompt appointment confirmation that kept me in the loop. On the day of the appointment, Chase and Chelsa were fantastic. They arrived right on time, which I truly value working from home and in meetings most of the day. They were thorough and professional, taking the time to carefully check both the inside and outside of my home to identify any potential issues. What I appreciated most was their thorough and honest consultation and recommendations for how to best handle some of the issues they found. There was a crack in the foundation in my crawl space. I had received 3 estimates, all with 3 different solutions. I sure was confused. I contacted a few other companies and finally I called Ohio Basement Authority. Nick took his time and thoroughly explained the issue and provided a solution. He was the only one that measured both the crawl space and the room above it and determined that the crack was not a threat to the foundation, explaining why there was not a reason to do anything at this time. I did decide to have the crawl space encapsulated. Nick's team was very courteous and respectful while in my home and completed the job in a timely manner. Don't waste your time in contacting other companies. Nick at Ohio Basement Authority knows his stuff and has the best team ever!

I had a whole bunch of work (encapsulation, new sump pumps, new insulation, the works) done on my crawl space by Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) in June 2026. I had so much water in the crawl space that I am almost surprised that the city didn't tax me for having a pool. All the OBA guys that I interacted with were nice chill dudes. My initial meeting was with Everette and he provided a ton of information. It was a crash course in crawl spaces. The work was done later by William and his crew (Steven, Owen, Levi, and the other guys who I have unfortunately forgotten their names – sorry). The whole crew was all really friendly, kept me updated on what was going on, and answered my questions; as silly as those questions may have been. It's easy to overlook the crawl space, it's not exactly a place where folks spend a lot of time. But water where it's not supposed to be will be the ruin of a house. Call the OBA guys and get ahead of the game.

Very friendly when I called in. Scheduled fee estimate although I wasn’t sure they did what I needed. Even Eakle showed up at scheduled time. Immediately realized I didn’t currently need their services. I showed him what my problem was, and he actually with the use of one little tool fixed my problem perfectly on all five window wells. He was such a friendly guy great customer service. I would highly highly recommend using them if you would ever need waterproofing cement, leveling, or any other other other services I would definitely give them a call. I believe he is out of the Kent office. I’m not sure he did have a 216 area code exchange, he did a fabulous job if I ever need any waterproofing or here of anybody that needs it I would definitely tell him to call these people

William and his crew were great! Very professional and courteous. Issues were as follows: Evan the salesman mentioned that we might need to remove the laundry sink at our first walkthrough. But around one week before they were due to arrive for the job, I called to ask about it and he had forgotten about it. He did help me find a really good plumber at a discount to correct this. The next issue was that the board to repair the base of the house was not going to fit, and they did not have the right equipment to do that job. The job got postponed by at least 2 weeks due to other scheduled jobs and staff vacation. In addition, William had to do a job during the morning of our scheduled work which put them back 1/2 day. I really appreciate that this company is family owned, but it feels like they are stretched a bit thin with staffing and equipment.

Ohio Basement Authority installed an egress window for me. Joe Stuber and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The excavation and block cutting necessary for installation of an egress window are messy jobs. I appreciated the fact that Joe and his crew took extra care to keep the mess to an absolute minimum. Joe was also great about letting me know what his intentions were for the job and confirming that his intentions would meet my expectations. As a result, I couldn’t be more pleased with my new window and the people at OBA.

When my basement flooded, OBA was there within an hour. Chris Masselli, the tech, jumped right in to figure out what was going on. Without my even asking, they replaced my sump pumps (and added one more) and dehumidifier which had been ruined, under my warranty. As we tried to figure out what was causing the intrusion, Chris came out at least half a dozen times with just a phone call, including being at my house until after 11 one night. Tracen and his crew, Ciande and Ali, rearranged their work schedule to make sure needed work was done before the rain came. I have an old house, so they had to do a lot of problem-solving to find a solution for us. They were professional, friendly, and did excellent work. Kaleb called to help me with another related problem, found us an answer, and then followed up to make sure everything worked out. They stayed in touch with me every single day for two weeks until everything was good. They even provided an extended maintenance contract to ensure that any possible problems in the future would be addressed. If I had to use one word to describe this company, it would be integrity. Every single interaction was professional. They went above and beyond in every way and made sure I had the outcome I needed. Finding quality companies to do work in our home has been a struggle, but this is what high quality looks like. If every company did business like this, it would be so much better. Highly, highly recommend.

Chase came out to inspect my foundation issue this week and I was super impressed. He took his time and was very thorough. Little did he know I had obtained estimates from two other companies. Sorry Chase! The inspection he did was light years ahead of the other two and the diagnosis was the same as was the fix. But, the estimate came in significantly lower and did not involve ripping off my entire deck. Chase passed the vibe check and was super personable and explained everything so a layman like me could understand. I think he deserves a bonus and a raise. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a foundation repair.

Louis Dave Christ and crew did an amazing job! They worked so hard for 3 days repairing and waterproofing my basement. Everyday they cleaned everything before leaving, sweeping the entire basement and foyer. They sprayed all the mud off my driveway and porch. Every morning Louis asked if I had any questions and showed me the completed work before leaving. I am so impressed with them. Jacob came out to assess our basement and was professional, friendly, and not at all pushy or trying to sell us something we didn't need. We decided to be proactive and waterproof our basement. Aaron Ison and his team came to our house over a 2 day period and were great! Very professional, explained everything they were doing throughout the process, and kept everything clean. Job was substantially completed 10/07 And full payment was made on 10/08 With the agreement that a 10 foot condensation hose from the dehumidifier would be delivered to me on 10/11 so the Aprilair unit could be more centrally located . Currently hose is only 5 feet long. Also the delivery team did not provide any verbal instructions except to press arrows up or down to set the humidity settings . I was told with purchase that instructions would be given to me and explain maintenance .The agreement was the 10 foot hose would be delivered 10/11 and at that time instructions on care of unit would be provided verbally . I was there from 9a-4:15 and did not receive any calls to reschedule .

We’re currently having basement work done by OBA. During the process, their electrician, Brandon, identified a serious issue with our main panel. We’d had problems in the past but hadn’t realized the extent of the danger. OBA was great about working with us to include a panel replacement in the project scope. Brandon completed the job the same day and was a pleasure to talk with. Their plumber, Cory, also stayed to help and had our water system back online that same day. *I’ll provide further updates once the structural work is complete, but so far, so good!

Troy Wilson came out to my house to look at something in my basement that I have had issues with since the basement system was put in. The guy who came and did my inspection 2 years ago told me this was not covered under the life time warranty they provide. I thought that was ridiculous. But I had to live with it. Irritated with them now, Troy came out this year and said "yeah I'm going to fix that for you. It's covered under the warranty." FANTASTIC!!!!! I am thankful for Troy coming out and being professional and no bullshit crap. No excuses just fixed it. Super happy with him. Thanks again.

Ohio Basement Authority is the top choice for exceptional plumbing services at a competitive price. After maintaining my old sump pump for over 20 years, it finally gave out and it was time for a replacement. I was able to schedule an appointment at a time that worked best for me, and Kyle Lockard came out to install the new sump pump. He did an outstanding job! Kyle not only installed the new pump but also cleaned out a significant amount of grime that had built up over the years. Unlike other companies that simply check if the sump pump is working and call it maintenance, Ohio Basement Authority went above and beyond, as shown in the photos. I'm extremely grateful for the professional and thorough service they provided in replacing my sump pump the right way.

I have had several jobs done by this company. When they say that customer satisfaction is their priority, they mean it. The first job was a waterproofing for my basement, which has worked flawlessly thus far after nearly 4 years. The most recent job is much more complicated. I got a battery backup sump pump and crawl space encapsulation. It was actually fairly poorly done, and there was a flood in my basement a couple of days later, ironically, as well as a lot of water damage in my laundry room amongst a few other things. I reached out to them about it and spoke with Field Supervisor Levi, and GM Joe Manion, who are both spectacular men to interact with in a situation like this. They were both kind and understanding of the difficult time I was having. They not only fixed the issues the last crew didn't complete or didn't do well, but they also made up for it by offering either a discount on my job or the option of additional work done. I chose to get some additional work done as I needed it anyway, and the experience was as fantastic as I am used to from this company. The crew they sent out to do my basement egress window were superb, and the foreman was more than accommodating and polite the entire time. I really wish I could remember the foreman's name. You can tell he really cares about his crew, his customer, and is very skilled at his job. Overall, I am very happy with not only the quality of work out of this company, but also the lengths they will go to make things right for a customer. I will absolutely use them again if I ever need any more work that they provide!
