Louis Dave Christ and crew did an amazing job! They worked so hard for 3 days repairing and waterproofing my basement. Everyday they cleaned everything before leaving, sweeping the entire basement and foyer. They sprayed all the mud off my driveway and porch. Every morning Louis asked if I had any questions and showed me the completed work before leaving. I am so impressed with them. When the project was completed I could see he had a sense of pride in a job well done! Thank you for your hard work.

He was very knowledgeable and conducted himself in a very professional manner. We hired Ohio Basement Authority to waterproof and dry out a damp cellar/basement at a historic home of ours. The stone walls and mortar were slowly crumbling. They inspected the foundation, explained all options to us, and completed the entire project in just 2 days. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. He went above and beyond by helping us ensure the replacement was covered under our warranty and was able to install the new sump pump the very same day. I had a whole bunch of work (encapsulation, new sump pumps, new insulation, the works) done on my crawl space by Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) in June 2026. I had so much water in the crawl space that I am almost surprised that the city didn't tax me for having a pool. All the OBA guys that I interacted with were nice chill dudes. My initial meeting was with Everette and he provided a ton of information. It was a crash course in crawl spaces. The work was done later by William and his crew (Steven, Owen, Levi, and the other guys who I have unfortunately forgotten their names – sorry). The whole crew was all really friendly, kept me updated on what was going on, and answered my questions; as silly as those questions may have been. It's easy to overlook the crawl space, it's not exactly a place where folks spend a lot of time. But water where it's not supposed to be will be the ruin of a house. Call the OBA guys and get ahead of the game.

We recently had Ohio Basement Authority at our home to complete repairs on a basement wall. During the repair process, the work being performed did not align with our understanding or expectations. After contacting the main customer service line, I received some assistance, but several of my questions and concerns remained unresolved. I was then connected with Jake Merrill, Field Supervisor, whose involvement made a significant difference. Jake listened carefully, acknowledged that the project was not progressing as either of us expected, and assured me he would take immediate steps to correct the situation and ensure the work was completed that same day. His communication—both by phone and text—was prompt, clear, and consistently professional. Jake delivered on every commitment he made. The repairs were completed successfully that day, and we are very pleased with the final result. In an environment where exceptional customer service is increasingly rare, Jake demonstrated genuine dedication to resolving the issue and ensuring our satisfaction. We sincerely appreciate Jake Merrill’s efforts. Jake was a difference maker in the results and our appreciation for the job results.

Ohio Basement Authority did phenomenal work. Our inspector, David D was incredibly professional and obviously passionate about what he does. From start to finish he meticulously explained what was going on and how to fix it, all while easing concerns and answering any questions that we had. Our installation crew, Iran H, Chris H, and Zach K were awesome. They were professional, courteous, and weren’t invasive or disruptive in the slightest. I especially want to point out that these guys came out and worked in about a foot of snow and below freezing temperatures on both of the days that they were out. You’re not going to get that from the competition. If you want a sump pump system with proper drainage installed, and you want it installed right, OBA is the way to go.

Richard was very informative about the process and checked in and out each day between my husband and I. I would recommend this crew to do any basement repairs. We inspected the entire basement and everything is exactly up to what the contract advised.

I recently hired this company to install two basement egress windows in one of my rental properties, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the first call, they were super quick to respond—got back to me right away, answered all my questions, and scheduled everything efficiently without any hassle. The team that came out was incredibly professional: polite, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with egress installations. They did a fantastic job on both windows—clean cuts, solid work around the foundation, great attention to detail, and they left the site spotless when they were done. The new windows look perfect, meet code, and add real value (and safety!) to the rental. If you’re a landlord or homeowner needing egress windows, I highly recommend them. He didn't try to sell us on unnecessary work, but advised us on what to watch for as our basement/house continues to age. Integrity is important to me, and I would 100% both recommend Ohio Basement Authority to others with basement/foundation needs, as well as work with this organization in the future for our own needs. Tyler was very thorough in explaining the process and assisting with the financing to get us started and Curtis and his team worked diligently to get the project completed, keeping us informed as to their progress at the end of each day. While this wasn’t something we expected or had planned for, we are grateful for Ohio Basement Authority’s work in addressing the problem by getting us scheduled quickly, stabilizing our house and providing us with a with a sense of relief going forward. Job was substantially completed 10/07 And full payment was made on 10/08 With the agreement that a 10 foot condensation hose from the dehumidifier would be delivered to me on 10/11 so the Aprilair unit could be more centrally located . Currently hose is only 5 feet long. Also the delivery team did not provide any verbal instructions except to press arrows up or down to set the humidity settings . I was told with purchase that instructions would be given to me and explain maintenance .The agreement was the 10 foot hose would be delivered 10/11 and at that time instructions on care of unit would be provided verbally . I was there from 9a-4:15 and did not receive any calls to reschedule .

I had basement work done by OBA in 2015, removal of French drain in a house that was built in 1932. Wall guard, triple safe sump pump, and dehumidifier installed. Best thing I ever did. March 2026 experienced @ 12 hour power outage. Sump pump failed(10+years old). Had a OBA service call that determined sump pump had to be replaced. That size pump no longer available, and a larger pump (AquaStop triple pump)would require enlarging the pit. The battery had been replaced 2 years prior, but had failed with the pump not working. The service was scheduled and I was not charged for the new battery & case, since it was only 2 yrs. old. They also gave me a 3 yr. maintenance extension, at a discounted price. 03/31/26 a 3 man crew arrived on time, covered everything with plastic and completed the job in 3 hours. Did a great job cleaning up and replacing the furniture that had to be moved. Excellent work, Tracyn, Ali and Blu.
